Harvard Faculity Club Wedding: Stephanie and Thomas

Q – What lead you to have a wedding the way you did? Family, friends location etc?
We chose the Harvard Faculty Club because we met on campus and formed the earliest memories of our relationship there. It was quite nostalgic for us (though the sight of the library did trigger a rather stressful visceral response). Nonetheless, it was really nice seeing many of our close friends, whom we also met in college, come together again on campus. For some of our family members, it was their first time in the United States and being able to attend a wedding at Harvard was exciting for them.

Q – What were you most excited about before the wedding?
“The cake.” —Steph
“The kiss.” —Tom

Q – Did anything happened that you were’t expecting?
We were not expecting Steph’s grandma to be waving when she walked her down the aisle. It was her first time being part of a Western-style wedding so she wasn’t sure what to expect. It was an amazing moment.

Q – Which images did you love the most?
We loved seeing the ones with friends from different stages of our lives mingling with each other.

Q – When you look back, would you have changed anything?
“More cake.” —Steph
“Steph, we had an entire layer of cake left. We were not lacking in cake.” — Tom
